— automatic adjustment of sand supply productivity (while the train is in transit) by criterion of minimal relative slip of wheel and rail;

— possibility of sander programming to the assigned algorithm of sand supply.

The benefits of the sander compared with the analogues:

— 20-30% increase in wheel-rail adhesion coefficient (other factors being equal);

— approximately double decrease in sand consumption;

— decrease in wear rate of wheel and rail surfaces.
